Pastor: Dr. Ryan D. Follis
Ryan is a graduate of Judson College, Central Baptist Theological Seminary, and received his doctorate from Northern Seminary in adult, small-group discipleship formation. He and his wife, Tara, have two children. Besides spending time with his family and serving the local church and community, Ryan enjoys sports, exercise, music, and being with people. One of Ryan’s favorite verses in the Bible is, Mark 10:45 “‘For the son of man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” 

 

Pastor, First Baptist Church of Hillsboro: Ian Caveny
Ian is a graduate of SIUe, completed his Masters degree at the University of Chicago, and will soon be pursuing a Master of Divinity. He and his wife, Hannah, have one child. In his free time, Ian enjoys reading, playing video games, and playing legos with his son, Teddy. One of Ian’s favorite Bible verses is, Psalm 45:3 because it reminds him that Jesus is a mighty warrior who goes before us to defend and protect us.

Kenzie Cunningham
Kenzie has a bachelors degree in business from Greenville University. In addition to overseeing all office communications, Kenzie serves as our Director of Youth Ministry for CHAOS, our Junior High and High School ministry. She and her husband, Ben, further serve our community as the high school cheerleading coach and assistant football coach, respectively. Kenzie’s favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 6:8, “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”

PaulCustodian: Paul Presnell
Paul serves as First Baptist’s janitor. He maintains the cleanliness and general maintenance of the church. Paul and his wife, Twila, enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. Paul enjoys working on cars, target shooting, and mechanical tinkering. Paul’s favorite Bible verse is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
